dc.contributor.authorBiographicalnote	Assistant professor at the Institute of Cultural Studies, University of Wrocław, a sociologist, and cultural studies specialist, author of the following works (a selection): Współczesne wspólnoty: Od polityki do estetyki (Contemporary Communities: From Politics to Aesthetics) (2012), W świecie Don Kichota: Między racjonalnością, rozsądkiem i rutyną: Rozważania wokół myśli Alfreda Schütza (In the World of Don Quixote: Between Rationality, Reason and Routine: Considerations about the Thought of Alfred Schütz) (2012), Kultura jako zorientowane na przyszłość wyzwanie rzucone teraźniejszości: O roli przyszłości w myśleniu o kulturze (Culture as a Future-oriented Challenge to the Present: On the Role of the Future in Thinking about Culture) (2013). She is currently interested in the post-war Polish humanities oriented around the theoretical issues of culture, and looks there for concepts inspiring the creation of the cultural studies as a new academic discipline in the 1970s.
