Abstract

The article deals with problems connected with the functioning of the underground economy in Poland. Its first part shows the main causes and conditions favouring development of the underground economy. The second part discusses its forms most common in private and socialized sectors and contains its evaluation. Finally, the third part of the article analyses possibilities of restricting the scope of the underground economy and integrating its certain elements with the legal activity.
