Универсальный и лингвистический характер метафоры

Abstract

Understanding of universal and linguistic nature of metaphor is presented in the article with a marking out the ontological and epistemological aspects of metaphor. The peculiarities of the basic types of verbal activity (mythological, logical and aesthetic) are described from the semantic side. Semantic peculiarities of the types of verbal thinking are presented in the way of identity and allegory. In the logical type of verbal activity as well as in the aesthetic type are described two types of semantic realization - metonymical and metaphorical.
