Abstract

The paper is about working on the play with intellectually disabled actors (members of the theatre group Office of Personal Belongings) and professional actors. The play was directed by Iwona Siekierzyńska - film and theatre director. It was her first work with intellectually disabled actors. She was asked by Head of the group Zbigniew Biegajło to work with them because they wanted to be open to new ideas. The director talks about her experience and concludes that weakness is strength. But sometimes the weakness is only weakness, and that’s ok too.
