Między amatorstwem a profesjonalizmem – warsztat aktorski w teatrze wartości religijnych
Streszczenie
Religious theatre was very often of minor importance. The reason for this was usually lack of artistic values rather than the true discussion on fundamental truths of faith. At this point, however, there is a number of religious theatre groups in our country that work hard on their acting skills. They collaborate with various professionals and their goal is to share their faith on stage, but at the same same time, they want to develop their acting skills. Various religious groups („Teatr Logos” from Łódź, „Teatr-A” from Gliwice or „Teatr ITP” from Lublin) are the proof that this image is changing. People who take part in this kind of activities, are starting to understand that they have to improve their skills in order to talk about Evangel. This results in hours of rehearsals, workshops and work in general behind all those beautiful performances. Religious theatre is really a centre of development of the youth (but not only the youth) only when it also encompasses the development of the acting skills. Starting from small parish or school groups — with time they become independently existing theatres, thus creating culture on equal rights.
