Samotności Autora, czyli samotność jako warunek zaistnienia procesu twórczego

Abstract

The article reflects on the importance of the phenomenon of solitude for the creative process and reviews literary works and artistic biographies in search for the the experience of loneliness. The starting point is a reflection on linguistic definitions of the phenomenon and attempts to categorize variants of loneliness and the interdisciplinary nature of the phenomenon in monoseology (the science of loneliness). In the second half of the article an attempt is made to create a model of the presence of solitude in the creative process in relation to Nikolai Berdyaev’s logical model of loneliness and previously categorized types of loneliness. The first goal of the article is to distinguish different types of loneliness affecting artists and the role of this phenomenon in the creative process; the second goal is to outline the background of the essence of the experience of loneliness; the third goal is to point out the connection between the conscious experience of loneliness and autothematism.

Artykuł zawiera rozważania o znaczeniu zjawiska samotności dla procesu twórczego oraz przegląd utworów literackich i biografii artystycznych pod kątem obecności doświadczenia samotności. Punkt wyjścia stanowią refleksje nad językoznawczymi definicjami zjawiska i próbami kategoryzacji wariantów samotności i interdyscyplinarności zjawiska w monoseologii (nauce o samotności). W drugiej połowie artykułu podjęta została próba stworzenia modelu obecności samotności w procesie twórczym w odniesieniu do logicznego modelu samotności Mikołaja Bierdiajewa i wcześniej skategoryzowanych typów samotności. Pierwszym celem artykułu jest wyróżnienie różnych rodzajów samotności dotykających artystów i roli tego fenomenu w procesie twórczym; celem drugim – zarysowanie tła istoty doświadczenia samotności; trzecim celem – wskazanie powiązania uświadomionego doświadczenia samotności i zabiegów autotematycznych.
