Czy obniżenie wieku emerytalnego w 2017 r. spowodowało spadek aktywności zawodowej wśród starszych pracowników?

Abstract

Lowering the normal retirement age in 2017 to 60 (women) and 65 (men) raises the question about the impact of this event on the economic activity of older people. The aim of this article is to indicate that contrary to the fears formulated during the period of work on this change, neither the typical retirement age nor the level of economic activity of people at retirement age has decreased. Some reasons explaining lack of changes are also discussed.
