Abstract

The article discusses changes in organization and activity of retail trade in the Netherlands over the years 1950-1980. The main attention lias been facuseed on changes in food retailing and on wider socio-economic Implications resulting from this changes. The final part of the article contains some conclusions and hypotheses concerning the analyzed problems.
