Abstract
The individual dimension of experiencing late adulthood by an individual entangled in the context of an unpredictable tomorrow
Based on empirical data from three deep open interviews, the author attempts to show the individual dimension of experiencing late adulthood. Appealing to the model of active participation of people over sixty, the author uses Tomaszewski’s concept of five criteria for the quality of life. They are: variety of experiences, the state of consciousness, physical and mental activity, as well as creativity and the ability to live together with others. The conducted research offers an interesting description of three different ways of experiencing old age, whose common denominator is activity joined with creativity in different areas.
