Pisarze i publicyści w ramach dyspozytywu władzy. Perspektywa analizy dyskursu i koncepcji władzy-wiedzy Michela Foucaulta
Abstract
Writers and publicists should be regarded not only as authors describing lords and political
power, but also as subjects of non‑material discursive power. The aim of this article is to present
the case of Jonathan Littell, the author of best‑selling novel “The Kindly Ones”, and his
mediated presence in public discourses in France and in Germany. Representations of the
author are based on the construction of his biography, especially his ethnicity. The method,
which served to study this phenomenon, is discourse analysis complemented by dispositive
analysis. Dispositive (heterogeneous ensemble which links discursive and non‑discursive
practices) is a concept proposed by Michel Foucault, recently earning new applications in
public sphere studies.
