Роль и место кооперационных связей в сотрудничестве стран СЭВ с Западом в новых мирохозяйственных условия

Abstract

Transformations in International economic relations and a drop in oil prices, growing competition in trade in manufactured goods, technical progress, growth of protectionism make it necessary for socialist countries to remodel their economic relations with developed capitalist countries. There should be enhanced the role of production and scientific-technical cooperation, which could constitute a major factor promotine; export of engineering industry products from the CMEA countries, it could be more advantageous to develop such cooperation with small and medium-sized companies in the West. Moreover, it would be also advisable to analyze possibilities of establishing joint production companies with Western partners. Development of such cooperation forms should be accompanied by more comprehensive cooperation of the CMEA countries in coordinating their mutual undertaking in the third markets, improvement of the flew of information concerning concluded agreements on cooperation, licences, etc.
