| dc.description.abstract | The power of computer simulation as a problem-solving is well known. The Monte Carlo
study can be used in parameter estimation, hypothesis testing and resampling methods, such as
bootstrap and jackknife.
The educational role of computer simulation is considered in the paper. The use of Monte
Carlo study can promote a deep conceptual understanding of statistics. The programs, which can
be used for preparation the simulation projects and the examples of educational computer simulation
