Subdyscypliny logopedii: przeszłość – teraźniejszość – przyszłość

Abstract

Changing social conditions have a significant impact on the development of speech-language pathology. This article presents the history of the emergence of its subdisciplines, as well as contemporary specializations within the field. The development of speech-language pathology as a scientific discipline, the growing health and social needs resulting from increased awareness of communication and language disorders, and the ongoing specialisation of therapeutic services highlight the need to update and adapt the catalogue of speech-language specialisations to current realities. Therefore, the article also includes proposals from the academic community to expand the scope of speech-language specialisations by incorporating selected subdisciplines.

Zmieniające się warunki życia społeczeństwa nie pozostają bez wpływu na rozwój logopedii. W artykule zaprezentowano historię rozwoju subdyscyplin logopedii, a także współczesne jej specjalizacje i subdyscypliny. Rozwój logopedii jako nauki, rosnące potrzeby zdrowotne i społeczne wynikające ze wzrostu świadomości w zakresie zaburzeń komunikacyjno-językowych oraz postępująca specjalizacja usług terapeutycznych sprawiają, że katalog specjalizacji logopedycznych musi zostać zaktualizowany i dostosowany do aktualnych realiów. Dlatego zaprezentowano również postulaty środowiska akademickiego, dotyczące rozszerzenia specjalizacji logopedycznych o wybrane subdyscypliny.
